is that conky on the japanese ??
How do you manage to do that ?
awesome work man, love your themes !!

    Thank you, both of you.

That is indeed plain conky; the white background belongs to the wallpaper. Nothing very special, but it creates a nice effect.

I’m new to Ubuntu and I’ve never heard of Openbox until seeing one your desktops on the ubuntuforums (the one with the PixelElegance Openbox theme) and the second I saw it (really, the second I saw it) I decided I should get one…
Imagine how great it was finding your themes and your (followed to the letter) guide…
So thanks for the inspiration and for the great guide. I can safely say now I’m a Openbox user thanks to you.

That is Gmpc, a front-end for mpd.

  8. Very cool stuff. Any word on the “unreleased gtk theme”? Does that work with thunar? I’d love to check that out. I currently use the medibuntu-look theme for the gtk side of things and go dark and those icons would just be awesome.

    Hi…

I was converted to Openbox and minimalist Linux when I happened to read your blog.

I REALLY REALLY love all those minimal, artistic and subtle wallpapers that I see on this website and on DeviantArt.

Where do these wallpapers come from…? I would like to know if there is any source on the web with a collection of wallpapers like these..! Nothing dazzling, but pleasing to the eye.

Also is there a simple way to convert GTK themes to Openbox themes…?

Is that bengali in the backgrounds?
By the way nice blog 😉

It is Sanskrit, written in the Bengali script.
